We are Golden Goose Tattoo Company, a tattoo and piercing shop located on Indianapolis' West Side, near the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Our goal when creating Golden Goose was simple: create an all-inclusive, artist-focused space in which artistry, creativity, and artist happiness is placed first and where money is an after-thought.

All are welcome within the walls of Golden Goose. Each of our artists is LGBTQ+ and BIPOC friendly and our goal is to give the best experience possible to each and every customer.

Accepted payment methods for procedures are on a per artist basis, but cash is preferred. Ask your artist what methods they accept.

ARTISTS
Cody Blackford.
​
Cody Blackford (he/him) is one of the co-owners of Golden Goose. He has been in the tattoo industry for more than 4 years and strives to make every single tattoo better than the last. Cody has degrees in Physics and Technology Education from Ball State University and hopes to use his knowledge and understanding of the world around him to make tattooing better than it's ever been. Cody currently offers black and grey illustrative tattoos and black and grey fine line.
Spencer Crawford.
​
Spencer Crawford (he/him) is the other co-owner of Golden Goose Tattoo Company. Raised in Indianapolis, Spencer went to Southport High and then studied at Ball State before deciding to pursue tattooing and piercing full-time. Spencer is the only member of our crew who is fully capable of both tattooing and piercing, though he leaves the piercing up to Jess for the time being! Spencer loves making American Traditional and will be happy to make you a unique tattoo based on whatever your heart desires!
Jess Flowers.

Jess Flowers (they/them) has been piercing for over a year after a traditional apprenticeship under Spencer. Originally from Columbus. OH, Jess moved to Indiana four years ago to attend Ball State University where they obtained their Bachelor's of Social Work and a minor in French. Jess appreciates not only the piercing side of things, but also loves to help people find and obtain their dream jewelry! Jess' favorite piercings to do are conches, flats, and stacked lobes. Elaine Smitholas.

Elaine (she/her) is an Indiana native who started tattooing in January 2021. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from IUPUI and has been making art her entire life. She finds artistic inspiration in nature and patterns. American traditional is Elaine's style of choice. She has a ton of pre drawn flash on her instagram, but also loves to draw up your ideas in her style. Kate Schmelter.

Kate Schmelter (she/they) was born in northwest Indiana before moving down to Indianapolis to pursue an oil painting degree at the Herron School of Art. She graduated in 2019 with a bachelors of fine arts and started tattooing shortly after. By 2022, she had joined the Golden Goose crew full time. She loves tattooing her own art, alongside any traditional-style design with her own twist. She loves pastels and candy colors, and she will almost never pass up a chance to tattoo a ‘90s toy or some sort of dessert! She accepts Instagram DMs and email for booking.
Jadyn Polermo.
​
Jadyn (she/her) grew up surrounded by art and it was always her favorite hobby. She started pursuing her tattooing interests in 2020, and professionally joined the industry in late 2021. Jadyn has four cats and spends most of her freetime cleaning up the absolute devastation they leave in their wake. Her favorite style to tattoo is blackwork! She enjoys anything animal, horror, fantasy or nature related the most, but is always happy to help make your visions come to life! The best way to book with Jadyn is via instagram or email.

PIERCING
We offer both tattoos and piercings.
In an attempt to provide the best possible quality for our clientele, we use only in-shop titanium jewelry for all piercing procedures. This means that the jewelry is on-hand, pre-sterilized, and high quality from only trusted brands such as Neometal, People's Jewelry, Anatometal, Junipurr,
Mushroom Body Jewelry, Buddha Organics, Maya Jewelry, and many more. Our piercer, Jess, aims for perfection with every piercing and is happy to provide most piercings at reasonable prices.
Please note that for appointments, a deposit will be required to book; this deposit covers the entirety of the piercing fee. All piercing fees are listed both on the website as well as Jess' Square site. If you need to cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours in advance, your deposit can either be moved for another appointment or returned to you. If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours, your deposit is forfeit and another one will be required to book. If you no call, no show, or are more than 10 minutes late, you will be asked to leave another deposit to reschedule.
If your anatomy does not support the piercing you booked for, your deposit can be used for a different piercing or returned for you.
All you will pay for the day of your appointment is for the jewelry you pick out! If you do decide to get more than one piercing, you will have to pay the additional piercing fee for it.

Minor Procedures
While we do not tattoo minors, we do offer piercings! If you are a minor, here is what you need to bring to your appointment: your birth certificate. a secondary ID (state ID. passport, or school yearbook photo are all accepted), and parent/guardian ID as well. If you are a guardian, please be sure to bring paperwork that proves proof of guardianship. All three of these forms of paperwork are required to get the piercing.

Jewelry Changes
You will initially be pierced with a longer bar to accommodate for swelling. For downsizing (which occurs at the 4-8 week mark after piercing). the jewelry change fee is waived and only ask that you pay the $10 for the new, shorter bar.
After the initial downsizing, or for piercings not done at Golden Goose Tattoo Company, there will be a $10 fee per hole for any jewelry changes. This fee caps at $30.
We will not use jewelry brought in for jewelry changes due to liability and sanitary reasons. We do have jewelry available in house that can be purchased and ranges in price.
For specialty orders, please contact Jess directly. To ensure orders are picked up, a 50% deposit is required. The rest is due at the time of pickup.

Jewelry Prices
All titanium pieces are implant grade, ASTM-F136 compliant titanium. All gold pieces are 14kt gold and up, and NOT plated.
​
Gold starts at $50 and prices go up from there; for a more accurate price quote, feel free to contact Jess directly.
